TA Product Guides New Orleans Regional AIDS Planning Council

When the New Orleans Regional AIDS Planning Council (NORAPC) needed help with the community planning process, they turned to the TARGET Center web site for technical assistance. Erika Sugimori, health planner at NORAPC, searched the TARGET Center library and quickly found the presentation, Evolving Cycle: Using Standards of Care and Continuous Quality Improvement to Advance Service Delivery. The presentation explained how to establish a working relationship between agencies to effectively measure and evaluate service delivery.

"Our committee was having trouble planning in the new term and had many first time participants with limited experience in the community planning process," Erika said. "We used the presentation to help members re-orient themselves and solidify the connection between the work of the Quality Improvement Committee and the Service Delivery Committee."/p>

Evolving Cycle: Using Standards of Care and Continuous Quality Improvement to Advance Service Delivery was developed by the Baltimore City Health Department in collaboration with InterGroup Services Inc and. "We plan to continue to use it as a resource for this committee," Erika added.
