HRSA's HIV/AIDS Bureau has issued two Notices of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) for dental services under the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program (RWHAP). Both are funded under RWHAP Part F. Both NOFOs have already hosted pre-application webinars. Links to those resources are provided below.
  • RWHAP Part F Community Based Dental Partnership Program, HRSA-18-046. The purpose of this program is to improve access to oral health care services for low- income, underserved, and uninsured people living with HIV (PLWH) in underserved geographic areas while simultaneously providing education and clinical training for dental students, dental hygiene students, dental residents, or other dental providers in community-based settings. Program goals must be accomplished through collaborations between dental and dental hygiene education programs recognized by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and community-based dental providers. Applications are due on January 19, 2018 in Grants.gov.
  • RWHAP Part F Dental Reimbursement Program, HRSA-18-052. The purpose of this program is to improve access to oral health care services for low income, uninsured, and underserved people living with HIV (PLWH), and to train dental students, dental hygiene students, and dental residents to deliver dental care to PLWH. The DRP accomplishes this by defraying a portion of unreimbursed dental care costs for low income, uninsured, and underserved PLWH incurred by accredited dental or dental hygiene education programs recognized by the Commission on Dental Accreditation. Applications are due on March 23, 2018 in Grants.gov.
